Ahh, now that is an interesting point. Effort. I like that Eric. And you're right... effort does matter. I hadn't really considered that until I read your comment but you are right. Even in a bad customer service situation, if I (the customer) feel like the person handling the situation gets that it sucks for me and they give me the feeling they are really trying to get it right, I do feel better.
